DENNIS QUAID AND THE SHARKS (2 Shows) @ The Blue Note Napa |

Dennis Quaid and The Sharks have been performing in front of thousands of people receiving rave reviews. He is not just another actor turned rock star, he is a rock star. Dennis Quaid is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist. He performs many original plus classic hits such as "Spill the Wine", "Gloria", and many more. The band's origins can be traced to one night when Quaid went to see actor Harry Dean Stanton and his longtime band (appropriately named the Harry Dean Stanton Band) perform at an L.A. club. Quaid was invited to join the band onstage. At first reluctant because of his decade long layoff from music, Quaid finally did perform with the band and was successful enough that James, also a member of Stanton's band, approached Quaid about starting a group of their own. James quickly began recruiting others for the band and it wasn't long before Dennis Quaid & the Sharks, which specializes in "rock 'n' roll and country soul," was performing at L.A. clubs.

Select seating packages include complimentary tickets to the Napa Valley Film Festival (NVFF) Celebrity Tributes on Thursday, Nov 9 at Lincoln Theater in Yountville.

Sold Separately: VIP M&G takes place after each show. A photographer provided (Must have a ticket for the show. M&G not available on its own)

Wednesday Night Live - Jinx Jones and the Kingtones @ Empress Theatre | In Jinx Jones' impressive musical career he has visited nearly every conceivable style and genre of the electric guitar. From his work with R&B divas, En Vogue to his own acclaimed rockabilly albums, "License to Twang," "Rumble & Twang," "Rip and Run," and "Twang-Tastic!!"Jones has always strived to expand the possibilities of the instrument. He accepts every musical challenge head on, always making an impressive statement with his music. The one thing that remains consistent throughout Jones' multi-stylistic journey is the grace and finesse of his virtuoso playing. Jinx has also been a member of Chuck Berry's touring band, and spent two summers as a member of Roy Buchanan's band. Jinx added guitar tracks to the R&B album "In Search of the Last Trump of Funk" by the Nation Funktasia. During 1991 and 1992 Jinx played with R&B superstars En Vogue on their triple platinum album "Funky Divas," and played both guitar and bass on their signature hit "Free Your Mind." Other sessions with En Vogue followed, but Jinx Jones was then moving into another musical direction, and his days as a sideman for hire were quickly taking a back seat to his pursuit of a solo career. "Jinx is a guitar virtuoso who seamlessly moves from rockabilly to jazz to twang and back again, sometimes in the same song. Those with a liner note obsession will remember Jinx's playing on En Vogue's "Free Your Mind." San Francisco Chronicle February 2012 "Jinx Jones is out there. Fouror five nights a week, the greatguitar player with the immaculate pompadour can be found at various Bay Area venues, working the stage, doing his thing. The Colorado native came up serving as a sideman to rock 'n' roll royalty, playing with the likes of Chuck Berry and Solomon Burke." Aidin Vaziri, San Francisco Chronicle's pop music critic, 2014 "Imagine an advanced guitar textbook on 10. Listeners all will doubtless be thunderstruck by Jinx's authoritative command of labrythinian note aggregates, lightning- fleet navigations, and esoteric chordal modes. One intuits they are in the twang-upholstered, jazzy Court of a flat- gone Monarch, one for whom fair Aoede is a favored midnight-hour ship." DC Larson, No Depression, 2014

Chris Isaak @ Uptown Theatre Napa | For Chris Isaak, first comes the song. And for First Comes The Night -- Isaak's stunning first album of new material in six years -- this gifted singer-songwriter and bandleader is bringing us a bumper crop of strong and intriguing songs from which to choose. "There was no mission for this album other than to follow the songs," Chris Isaak explains, and in terms of songwriting, the floodgates really opened this time. "My last release was Beyond The Sun -- my tribute to Sun Records with a lot of covers -- so this time around I had a lot of new material that I was thrilled to record. My manager always tells me,'We need more songs.' This time, even she realized she's creating a songwriting monster, and had to beg me to stop."

An Evening with Todd Rundgren @ The Uptown | A Wizard, A True Star. The title of Todd Rundgren's 1973 solo album aptly sums up the contributions of this multi-faceted artist to state-of-the-art music. As a songwriter, video pioneer, producer, recording artist, computer software developer, conceptualist, and, most recently, interactive artist, Rundgren has made a lasting impact on both the form and content of popular music.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Rundgren began playing guitar as a teenager, going on to found and front The Nazz, the quintessential `60's cult group. In 1969, he left the band to pursue a solo career, recording his debut offering, the legendary Runt. But it was 1972's seminal Something/Anything?, on which he played all the instruments, sang all the vocal parts, and acted as his own producer, that catapulted Todd into the superstar limelight, prompting the press to unanimously dub him 'Rock's New Wunderkind'. It was followed by such landmark LPs as The Hermit of Mink Hollow and the above mentioned A Wizard, A True Star, as well as such hit singles as I Saw The Light, Hello It's Me, Can We Still Be Friends, and Bang The Drum.

Rundgren has also achieved acclaim as a producer - His myriad production projects include albums by Patti Smith, Cheap Trick, Psychedelic Furs, Meatloaf, XTC, Grand Funk Railroad, and Hall And

Chris Cain Blues Band @ Silo's | Chris Cain's jazz-tinged, blues soaked guitar and deep, warm vocals have the maturity and authenticity of bluesmen many years his senior. His expressive style is the result of a lifetime of study and the relentless pursuit of music mastery. His passion and intensity are a blend of his mother's Greek ancestry and his father's soulful black heritage.

"One of my favorite, and criminally underrated blues players of all time. My name is Cain!! Chris has influenced me for as long as I owned a guitar. Tone, and magic phrasing. Killer voice and songs to boot."

Pete Escovedo Orchestra (2 Shows) @ Blue Note |

Pete Escovedo and his Latin Jazz Orchestra have always been breaking new grounds when it comes to playing live music, bringing talented and well known musicians together to perform on stage. Their shows attract all ages, backgrounds and nationalities who come together to hear incredible music, the memory of which will last forever.

Pete Escovedo has recorded 8 acclaimed solo albums, 2 albums with his daughter Sheila E., and the Latina Familia live album with Sheila E. and Tito Puente. The entire family has gotten together as the "E Family" to record the album "Now and Forever", featuring Pete Escovedo, Sheila E., Juan Escovedo and Peter Michael Escovedo.

Pete Escovedo, toured internationally with the legendary guitarist, Carol Santana, for five years and performed on three Santana albums:  Moonflower, Oneness and Inner Secrets.  Mr. Escovedo left Santana to follow in the musical footsteps of his mentor, the late Great Tito Puente, who influenced his music and decision to form his own orchestra consisting of a five-person horn section with strong rhythm and percussion personnel.

FREDDY COLE @ The BlueNote (2 Shows Nightly) | Lionel Frederick Cole was born on October 15, 1931, the youngest of Edward and Paulina Nancy Cole's five children. His three elder brothers, Eddie, Ike and Nat (twelve years Freddy's senior) were all musicians. Though Freddy Cole was born in Chicago, he is a 35-year native son and international celebrity of Atlanta. Cole doesn't apologize for sounding like his brother, Nat "King" Cole. There are certain unmistakable similarities. He plays piano and sings and performs live with guitar and upright bass, just like Nat. Yet his voice is raspier, smokier, jazzier even. But he has emerged from the awesome shadow cast by his elder brother. In truth, his phrasing is far closer to that of Frank Sinatra or Billie Holiday than that of his brother and his timing swings a little more. His vocals - suave, elegant, formidable, and articulate - are among the most respected in jazz. Cole's career continues to ascend as he has moved into the front ranks of America's homegrown art form with a style and musical sophistication all his own

LOCALS NIGHT feat. ROEM BAUR (2 SHOWS!) @ Blue Note | Roem Baur is a multiple award-winning touring songwriter and San Francisco resident. He has been featured on the main stage at Super Bowl City, NBC's The Voice, and at CES & SXSW conferences. A classically trained opera singer, he answered the call of rock n' roll shortly after college and began touring living rooms, cafes, and small clubs with "a voice that seems to burn with fire" (Examiner) before forming his band and releasing his first studio EP with GRAMMY nominated producer, Damien Lewis (Rihanna, Capital Cities, Kimbra).

After winning Bob Weir's (The Grateful Dead) national "Road to TRI" contest, Baur and his band were invited to record a live EP in Weir's personal studio, the product of which can be found on Roem's YouTube page and has since propelled him to a whole new era of rock fans. In June of 2016 he released his most personal work, "Night Phases," that has been praised by music bloggers and critics as one of the best releases of the Summer.

The Robert Cray Band @ Uptown Theatre | With 5 Grammy Awards, 15 nominations, millions of record sales worldwide, and thousands of sold out performances, rock blues icon Robert Cray is considered "one of the greatest guitarists of his generation." Rolling Stone Magazine in their April 2011 issue credits Cray with reinventing the blues with his "distinct razor sharp guitar playing" that "introduced a new generation of mainstream rock fans to the language and form of the blues".

Since then, Cray has gone on to record sixteen Billboard charting studio albums and has written or performed with everyone from Eric Clapton to Stevie Ray Vaughan, from Bonnie Raitt to John Lee Hooker. Inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2011 at the age of 57, he is one of the youngest living legends to receive the prestigious honor. And while he can look back over an astonishing four-decade career punctuated by his trademark sound and distinct playing style, Robert Cray is too busy moving forward on an amazing journey that has him releasing his seventeenth studio album IN MY SOUL on April 1, 2014 and embarking on yet another world tour with the Robert Cray Band.

As ever with Robert Cray's undefinable sound, his music remains stubbornly beyond category. Although blues is the foundation, his music is a melting pot of traditional American rock, soul, jazz, gospel, funk and R&B. "When I first started playing guitar, I wanted to be George Harrison - that is, until I heard Jimi Hendrix. After that, I wanted to be Albert Collins and Buddy Guy and B.B. King. And then there are singers like O.V. Wright and Bobby Blue Bland. It's all mixed up in there. You just never know. I always attribute it to the music we grew up listening to and the radio back in the '60s. It's pretty wide open. It's hard to put a tag on it."The oft-quoted line reads 'that bluesmen improve with age', and Cray's evolving output through the next three decades gives weight to the theory. In 2000 he took home a Grammy for the album Take Your Shoes Off and went on to release two additional Grammy nominated albums Twenty (2005) featuring the poignant anti-Iraq war song of the same name, and This Time (2009) featuring the soul drenched favorite "I Can't Fail." The following years, the Robert Cray Band released the live album Cookin' In Mobile(2010) and the critically acclaimed Nothing But Love (2012).

"We have been very lucky," says Cray, "we've been afforded the luxury of having a great loyal and amazing fan base around the world, allowing a band like ours to continue to work."

Get The LED Out @ Uptown Theatre |

From the bombastic and epic, to the folky and mystical, Get The Led Out (GTLO) have captured the essence of the recorded music of Led Zeppelin and brought it to the concert stage. The Philadelphia-based group consists of six veteran musicians intent on delivering Led Zeppelin live, like you've never heard before. Utilizing the multi-instrumentalists at their disposal, GTLO re-create the songs in all their depth and glory with the studio overdubs that Zeppelin themselves never performed. When you hear three guitars on the album…GTLO delivers three guitarists on stage. No wigs or fake English accents, GTLO brings what the audience wants…a high energy Zeppelin concert with an honest, heart-thumping intensity.

Dubbed by the media as "The American Led Zeppelin," Get The Led Out offers a strong focus on the early years. They also touch on the deeper cuts that were seldom, if ever heard in concert. GTLO also include a special "acoustic set" with Zep favorites such as "Tangerine" and the "Battle of Evermore" being performed in its' original instrumentation with guest singer Diana DeSantis joining the band.

GTLO has amassed a strong national touring history, having performed at major club and PAC venues across the country. GTLO's approach to their performance of this hallowed catalog is not unlike a classical performance. "Led Zeppelin are sort of the classical composers of the rock era," says lead vocalist Paul Sinclair. "I believe 100 years from now they will be looked at as the Bach or Beethoven of our time. As cliché as it sounds, their music is timeless."

A GTLO concert mimics the "light and shade" that are the embodiment of "The Mighty Zep." Whether it's the passion and fury with which they deliver the blues-soaked, groove-driven rock anthems, it's their attention to detail and nuance that makes a Get The Led Out performance a truly awe-inspiring event!

Lydia Pense & Cold Blood Two Shows! - Special Guest Fred Ross @ Silo's Napa | Lydia Pense & Cold Blood debuted when the Fillmore was at its peak as one of the nation's musical Meccas. Owner Bill Graham was so impressed with Lydia's voice and the sound of the band that he immediately signed Cold Blood to his new record label. During the span of six original late-60's, early-70's albums, Lydia Pense and Cold Blood helped, along with Tower Of Power, forge their own specific brand of funk/soul and R&B which came to be known as East Bay Grease. That music still holds up today, proving that great music is timeless and will continue to inspire generations to come.

The show will be opened by Rick Stevens former lead singer for Tower of Power, whose "You're Still a Young Man" was the band first hit single and to this day remains their "Signature" song. Anointed by the "Queen of Soul" herself, Aretha Franklin, as "One of the Great Soul singers of the his generation" Rick went on to have hits like "Down to the Nightclub", and "You've Got to Funkafize" for Tower. Rick Stevens is "Back on the Streets Again!"

Osteria Live! hosts Pat Hull Trio @ Ca' Momi Osteria | Pat Hull has the greatest voice that you probably haven't heard. The 60's pop singer androgyny of his pipes work gorgeously in a indie folk/rock landscape, so this album, as well as his back catalogue, are absolutely worth a deep dive. His gentle folk missives feel like a time capsule to a lost era, or one that has yet to happen.

Late night is happening at Ca' Momi. Stop in at Ca' Momi Osteria in Downtown Napa Friday and Saturday nights this winter for live music from some of the Bay Area's best artists.

Enjoy a late-night menu including hot from the oven certified Pizza Napoletana, cicchhetti, salads, piadine, all-natural cocktails, wines and organic house-made beer. 10 pm to Midnight Friday and Saturday nights.
