Celebrating 16 years, the Staglin Family Vineyard Music Festival will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Staglin Family Vineyard, located at 1570 Bella Oaks Lane in Rutherford, Napa Valley, California. Last year alone, the event raised over $2 million to support the research and treatment of physiological brain disorders. The Music Festival begins at 11:45 with a scientific symposium featuring Dr. Pat Levitt, Director, Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute at the University of Southern California, followed by the "world's best cult wine tasting", the exciting musical concert and dinner under the stars. Wine country superstar Richard Reddington of world renowned Redd Restaurant in Yountville, Napa Valley, will delight attendees with passed hors d’oeuvres during the tasting in the Staglin barrel caves. This year's musical guest is one of country's brightest crossover stars, Dwight Yoakam. Completing the experience, guests will enjoy the absolute finest Texas cuisine under the stars by renowned chef Jon Bonnell of Bonnell's Restaurant in Ft. Worth at the VIP post-concert dinner. Tickets for the lecture, reception and concert are $750. Tickets for the lecture, reception, concert and exclusive dinner are $5000 with table of ten sponsorships beginning at $50,000. Admission to the seminar only is free.
